Is there really a free tier forever?+
Yes. 50,000 events/month, 1 project, weekly AI insights. No credit card required. We don’t expire it.
What happens if I exceed my event limit?+
As you approach your limit we show in-app warnings and email you at 80% and 100%, and accept events up to 110%. Beyond that, new events pause until the next billing cycle — historical data is never deleted.
Can I switch plans?+
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from your dashboard settings. Upgrades pro-rate immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer annual billing?+
Monthly billing today. Annual plans (2 months free) are coming soon.
Can I export my data?+
Pro and Business include CSV export for events, sessions, heatmaps, and insights. A read/export API is coming to Pro and Business. We will never charge for data egress.
Does PennyLens work with Shopify or WooCommerce?+
Yes — auto-detect for both ships in the SDK on every plan. The visit → cart → checkout → purchase funnel populates within 30 seconds of install, with no manual event wiring. See the e-commerce page for the full story.
Where is the data hosted?+
All plans run on AWS in us-east-1 (USA). No tracking cookies, Global Privacy Control is respected, and data is minimized by design. EU/UK data residency is on the roadmap.
Do you sign DPAs?+
Yes — Business includes a custom DPA. Free and Pro use our standard data processing terms (linked from the privacy policy).
What about GDPR and CCPA?+
PennyLens is GDPR and CCPA compliant out of the box. Input masking, identity scrubbing, and IP anonymization are on by default.
